TOPMATERIAL, LFP R&D completed "Broke the ground for mass production at Pyeongtaek in Korea"

탑머티리얼, LFP 양극재 개발 성공 “평택에 대규모 생산 라인 설치”

 

TOPMATERIAL announced that it has completed R&D activity for high-performance LFP cathode active material and launched a new project of LPF mass production. 

 

Currently-up-and-running pilot line will provide the samples for customers all around the world. After he cell-level evaluation at customer side, long-term contract will be signed off. 

 

For mass production line with 3,000 metric ton per year, 14.1 billion korean won has been invested.

Lastly, Top Material is actively developing cathode active materials. Our main focus material is LFP and manganese rich LNMO for its safety and cost. We operate in pilot scale including the cell validation all the way from the powder. Top Material's LFP production line is being setup for 3000 ton/year capacity. It will be running in 2024 Q4.
